  1. JCI ICON SHELL
  2. Icon Shell is a hot new replacement for your Windows Program
  3. Manager. Easier to configure and use, Icon Shell also has many
  4. features not found in any other program launcher.
  5. -Just one click starts any of your applications. Smart program
  6. switching prevents you from accidentally starting another copu
  7. of an application if it is already running. Icon
  8. -Shell's unique Fit run style will resize your application to fill
  9. the entire work area. What you're working on fills the whole
  10. screen, except for where Icon Shell sits.
  11. -Icon Shell also features a built in clock/calendar, full drag &
  12. drop support, command prompt, and popup help.
  13. -At your request, Icon Shell will easily install or uninstall
  14. itself as your Windows shell program (Program Manager).

  19. HOW TO SET UP JCI ICON SHELL
  20. Just unzip these files to any directory (we suggest placing them
  21. in your Windows directory) and execute ICONSHEL.EXE.

  23. Icon Shell requires VBRUN300.DLL. This file can be found in the
  24. Microsoft Software Library forum on CompuServe and should be
  25. placed in your Windows System directory. GO MSL, download
  26. VBRUN300.EXE.

  28. REGISTRATION
  29. You can register Icon Shell right on CompuServe! The Shareware
  30. Registration ID is 1934. Type GO SWREG to begin this process.

  32. There is also a mail-in registration form contained in online
  33. help (ICONSHEL.HLP) which you can print and send in.

  36. JCI Icon Shell has built-in help. to get help, just press F1 or click
  37. a Help button at any time you are running Icon Shell. Even if you
  38. can't get Icon Shell to run, you can access this help by running
  39. ICONSHEL.HLP from the Windows File Manager.

  41. Please take a moment to explore the help information. The help
  42. file is actually larger in size than the program itself. It explains
  43. all of Icon Shell's features and how to use them.
